Dr. Wu graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY). He then attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. This was followed by a one year internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Wu then completed his Ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. This was followed by a one year fellowship in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery at the Boston Eye Group, where he also spent time at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Wu treats a variety of conditions including cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, eye allergies and infections. He utilizes lasers for glaucoma treatment and performs cataract surgery and pterygium excisions.
Dr. Wu is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an attending ophthalmologist at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and is on staff at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Greater New York.
Dr. Wu is fluent in English, Chinese and Medical Spanish.
